Jaguar xjr SPECIFICATIONS
what makes this car special?
The X350 model Jaguar XJ were produced from 2003 to 2007 and were designed with an all-aluminium chassis and body, making it lighter and more agile compared to the previous generation it replaces. Along with the exterior improvements, it is also more practical too as the interior and luggage space was increased.
The interior is a welcoming sight of comfortable leather seats and walnut burl wood grain trim covering the doors, dashboard and steering wheel. Along with the luxurious interior, there is a few modern safety features that will prove to be useful. These include the four channel anti-lock brakes with emergency assist as well as the airbags situated in the front and sides of the XJR.
The Jaguar XJR came with an Eaton supercharged 4.2 litre V8 which produced 390 BHP and is coupled to a smooth 6 speed automatic transmission for smooth and effortless driving with decent fuel economy for long range trips. Dynamic stability and traction control came as standard to put all the power down to the road and provide the best amount of grip possible at full performance, making the XJR capable hitting 100km/h from a standstill in less than 5 seconds.
Standard equipment that came with the Jaguar XJR includes the following:
- Leather seats
- Dual zone active climate control
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Electronically adjustable steering wheel and pedals
