Launched in the early 2000s from their factory in Somerset England, the Ariel Atom was a revelation with its visible exoskeleton, no doors, no roof and race car handling abilities
It is the most focused road legal sports car and ultimate track day weapon with low running costs. The Atom 3 featured refinements to improve interior space and comfort. Elbow room is improved, a new seat lowers the occupants and therefore the centre of gravity plus new wind deflectors reduce the air pressure at high speeds. The engine was the latest Honda Type R 2.0l unit with improvements to the engine mountings to reduce vibration. The latest spec engine offered more low-down torque, fly by wire throttle, new gearchange, fuel system, air intake, ecu and twin exhaust pipes.
This is a low mileage supercharged example which produces 300 BHP.
