The official launch of the Lamborghini Aventador was held at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011.
The flamboyant design of the Aventador was penned by Filippo Perini and borrowed from Lamborghini’s striking Reventon and Estoque concept cars and keeping to the same formula of the past with a V12 engine positioned mid - rear and iconic scissor doors.
The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster's 6.5 litre naturally aspirated V12 engine produces 690 BHP. This combined with the 7 speed semi-automatic transmission and the electronically assisted all-wheel drive system will get the Aventador to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds and will touch 350 km/h when going at full speed.
However, the dynamic design and performance statistics do not communicate what makes this car special. The V12 engine produces a melodic high pitched roar and with the roof panel removed amplifies the audible experience to an emotional one. This together with the high quality Italian interior, instant acceleration and confidence inspiring grip levels thanks to all wheel drive contribute to a Super car that is much more than the sum of its parts
This Lamborghini Aventador Roadster was specced in the launch colour of Azzuro Thetys with Crema interior and was ordered with the following extras:
