The Ferrari 308 GTB was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 1975 with a lightweight Pininfarina designed and wind tunnel developed body with a transversely mounted V8 engine. The first 800 odd examples had fiberglass bodies with steel bodied cars being produced after April 1977 as a higher level of quality could be achieved in steel with a minimal weight difference (150kg heavier at 1200kg).
Various versions of the Ferrari 308 were produced, but only the first fiberglass cars and steel body Euro specification GTB cars with Weber carburetors and dry sump lubrication are desired by collectors
Why?
They are light, fast and provide the purest driving experience as the V8 engine was then in its most potent form.
This is a rare opportunity to secure a dry sump carburetor Ferrari 308 GTB in great condition. Contact Gareth or Jeremy for more details Tel: (021) 462 3558 or send us an enquiry via the contact form below.
