In production from 1974 to 1978, the Honda CB550 is regarded by many as the best Honda of the seventies. Smaller than the CB750, it handled better and proved to be a reliable, comfortable, every-day motorcycle.
The updated K3 series was launched in 1977, with four restyled megaphone exhausts, a bigger tank and lower handle bars.

This Honda CB550 is a desirable K3 series produced in 1977. It is highly original and still in the factory colour scheme for 1977 of Candy Garnet Brown with red accent stripe and gold border. The side covers have the correct “550 Four K” badging and the vinyl seat appears to be original.
This example has only covered 17 695km and has been in current ownership for more than 17 years. This is an opportunity to secure a rare collector quality example of a sought-after classic motorcycle. It is available for viewing at our showroom in Gardens Cape Town.
