The Mercedes Benz W124 series, in production from 1984 to 1997, was known for its exceptional build quality and timeless style. The coupe known as the C124 was introduced in March 1987 and was an exclusive stylish derivative targeted at “individuals”.

It set new standards of comfort, style and luxury with leather-wrapped interiors, wood veneers and thicker seats matched with its independent suspension which improved both comfort levels and cornering speed.

The Coupe was 85 millimeters shorter than the sedan with two-door bodywork without a fixed B-pillar. The windscreen was angled more flatly and helped improve fuel consumption due to the reduced drag. The 217 horsepower 3.2-litre version of the DOHC M104 engine was introduced in 1992 for the 1993 model year and featured the latest KE-Jetronic fuel injection and variable valve timing. Power was sent to the rear wheels via a sophisticated five-speed automatic transmission.

This Mercedes Benz was built in December 1992 and first registered in February 1993. It is one of the 217 horsepower 3.2-litre 320ce Coupe’s which were the final evolution of the C124 series.
