The MV Agusta motorcycle company was founded in 1945 as a branch of the Agusta aircraft company. Following World War 2 and the ban on aircraft production in Italy, Agusta diversified to motorcycle production and established the “Mechannique Verghera” brand.
The MV Agusta motorcycles dominated Grand Prix racing for decades with legends such as Mike Hailwood, John Surtees and Giacomo Agostini before motorcycle production ceased in 1977
The MV Agusta F4 is regarded as one of the most beautiful motorbikes ever produced and is the bike that re-launched the MV Agusta brand in 1998.
Created by Massimo Tamburini at the Cagiva Research Centre, the F4 features the iconic Red and Silver MV Agusta livery, an inline four-cylinder liquid cooled 750cc engine designed with the assistance of Ferrari engineers and four under seat exhausts that were tuned by an orchestral master.
This MV Agusta F4 is a desirable 750 example produced in 2000. It was first registered in South Africa in 2005 and has been in current ownership for just over 7 years.
This example has covered 15 700km since new, is in very good condition and included in the asking price are new tyres, a technical inspection and a service.
