Porsche’s first production car, the Porsche 356, was in production from 1950 to 1965 and therefore has a special place in Porsche’s history and in the collections of Porsche enthusiasts. It is a lightweight two door sports car powered by a flat four rear mounted engine. The 356 evolved from the Pre-A in 1950, the 356 A in 1955, in 1959 the 356 B was introduced and finally the 356 C prior to the 911’s introduction.
