In line with Porsche’s philosophy of gradual improvement over time, the Carrera was introduced in 1984 as the replacement for the successful SC series and featured the following improvements:

• Increase in power - 3.2l engine – 231 BHP – 80% new – use of Porsche 3.3l crankshaft for longer stroke
• Improved refinement and reliability via upgraded fuel and ignition to L Jetronic with Bosch Motronic 2 DME
• Improved fuel consumption – DME cut off on over run
• Better braking and heat dissipation with the fitment of larger disc brakes
• Improved oil cooling with the fitment of a new oil cooler

This Porsche 911 Carrera was first delivered in Germany on the 14th of March 1985 by Max Moritz. According to the original service booklets it was imported to South Africa in the mid 1990’s by its owner who kept it until 2018. It was purchased in 2018 by its current owner and an Outlaw/RS build was undertaken in conjunction with respected independent Porsche specialists RS Auto Sport in Randburg

• Custom exhaust manufactured by Rob Howie
• Front Brakes upgraded to 4 piston calipers – from Porsche Boxster

Suspension & tyres:

• Koni shocks fitted all round
• New suspension bushes
• Upgrded rear torsion bars
• New 16-inch rims
• Continental tyres fitted all round – fronts dated 2418 and rears 4317

Interior:

• A modern air-conditioning system fitted
• Seats trimmed with red houndstooth style inserts
• A new headlining fitted
• OMP sports steering wheel fitted
• Custom red gauges fitted
• Bluetooth & Navigation rear view mirror system
• Reverse camera
