The Volkswagen Golf GTI MK1, based on the Giugiaro designed VW Golf, was introduced in September 1975. It evolved from a part time project for a group of Volkswagen engineers into a massive success for Volkswagen with over two million examples produced and eight versions over almost 50 years. The Golf GTI MK1 was the original hot hatch and “sportscar for everyone”. Its red grille trim, oversized GTI badges and tartan seats are now iconic elements of the GTI DNA. Today the Volkswagen Golf GTI is the perfect practical daily with an engaging drive and great performance.

The Volkswagen Golf GTI MK 7 was launched in 2014 and was the fastest and most practical Golf GTI at the time. It is powered by the 2.0 turbo direct injection engine producing 217bhp and is 42 kg ligher than the MK6 GTI.

It is an all rounder with no sacrifice required in areas such as practicality, comfort and performance.

This VW Golf GTI MK7 is a non performance pack version with the 7 speed DSG gearbox and is presented in excellent condition. It was first delivered on the 26th of May 2016, has only covered 73 299km since and has recently been serviced
