The Porsche 964 made its debut in 1989 and was sold until 1994. • Aerodynamics of the 964 were significantly improved compared with the G model. The new, rounded front and rear sections and an automatically extending rear spoiler contributed to these improvements.
• A new 3.6-liter M64 naturally aspirated flat-six engine producing 247 BHP up from 231 BHP (1988 Porsche 911 Carrera).
• Coil springs and shock absorbers instead of the traditional torsion bar suspension, offering improved ride and handling. The front suspension used MacPherson struts, a first for the 911.
• A new automatic climate control system provided improved heating and cooling
